Before "Toy Story", there was "THE BRAVE LITTLE TOASTER"

"Why, if only we were all wiener dogs, our problems would be solved!"

The trip to Mars was not as successful.

The original movie was the only good one really. I first saw that when it premiered on The Disney Channel back around '88 myself and it never left me.

There were two later direct-to-video sequels made such as that Mars film and another one who's title escapes me.

How many of these did they make?

Only three...

The Brave Little Toaster (1987)
The Brave Little Toaster Goes To Mars (1998)
The Brave Little Toaster To The Rescue (1999)

And strangely those last two films were out of order chronologically with the Mars film apparently being the third installment.

Apparently they almost gave the first film an award at Sundance but the a--holes didn't on the grounds that this was a 'cartoon' and that the festival wouldn't be taken seriously after that (again, a--holes)!

Just seeing that clip again, I miss Phil Hartman's performance of the air conditioner!

Bothering to add iodine to the pain, here's a full version of the third (second) film...

The Brave Little Toaster was one of my favorite movies as a kid. Ah, memories.
