An anniversary of sorts

Five years ago today, at about this time, my father died. I missed the whole thing. I was on vacation and asleep.

I know, that's not really funny, but it kinda is. You'd have to understand my dad first.

Travel back to a time when music, arcades and movies were at their hottest and animation was still treated like a second class citizen!










Technically this one's from '83 but showed up halfway during the last season, I'm sure it didn't help matters that they couldn't get "Bo" and "Luke" for this until the second season worth of episodes.


And there you have it, a waste of your time watching products of a wasted childhood!

A little cartoon for Labor Day

Had a nice visit with CW from NinjaHell! and his wife yesterday (Yes! We have gas in Dallas again). We got talking about some weird things, like old Disney flicks that touch on...sensitive subjects. I was reminded of this and an old reggae song, so I thought that would be perfect for Labor Day.
