God, I almost got through the first five minutes of this! I'm just glad Sid's not around to hear the hackles we can now take part in because of his work! The set design looks like construction paper wrapped around giant frames, it's so grade school-like cheap!
These type of X-mas shorts were pretty common back in the day. The people who made industrial shorts would make these for local movie houses, I'm surprised that more haven't survived. Even exploitation filmakers like David F. Friedman and Herschell Gordon Lewis made a few. And I'm sure you know about K. Gordon Murry's Santa Claus movies imported from Mexico...
