A while back, I picked up a copy of Science Fiction Movie Themes at my local used CD store. I was excited because it had a copy of "Rampatrouille Orion" and I thought that was a pretty kicking theme song.
Here's what it's supposed to sound like:

I don't know where the CD is now. I left it somewhere. I had never regretted spending $2 before, but that CD showed me the way. May whoever has it use it well.
I ripped the CD and it's by a band called Los Go's. I will never forgive them.

You know, I looked like hell trying (and failing) to find that CD listed on Amazon.com.
It was $3.95 at Camelot Music fifteen years ago or so, so I picked it up... and I use it as my benchmark for how continental Europe can mess ANYTHING up by making it disco.
Ironically, Raumpatrouille Orion is the only track I LIKE off this thing- enough that I'm considering it as my Internet radio show's theme song...
Ironically? You INSPIRED me. I heard that and thought, "Jeezus, where have I heard that before?"
Which is why it's the best choice for the theme. That or the goldfish.....
