Dental Flossophy
Oh, the stuff I'm finding on these drives is nuts. There's a DVD rip of this fun little 'toon. I figure, we just finished a big eating holiday here in the States, and there's a Peanuts movie coming out, so let's get this one up.
While I don't believe this deserves a new post just for it, this film was a follow-up to another one made for the same organization called "Tooth Brushing with Charlie Brown". Both shorts seem to borrow music used in the Valentine and Arbor Day specials. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXvREOqe1_M
And while I'm at it, here's one on air pollution! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyakfiKYzZY
I'll have to scan my METRIC USA booklet from the 70s. One of many odd things found in my dad's effects.
A buddy of mine was actually in a band called "Go Metric USA". Not that they sang about the system at all. I do recall being teased a lot while we were learning it in school.
Sorry to hear. I remember when it seemed like a big deal we were about to go into that (even switching from Fahrenheit to Celsius), but then, nothing. Feel so wasted, really. Nice to think it's not a total loss anywhere else.

Well hell. Tooth brushing? What's next? Combing your hair?
I do think it's adorable there was a special just for Arbor day. I don't think we celebrate that one enough.
No, we don't (much in the way we stopped caring about the Metric System as the new standard past the 1980's).
