The Critic (1963)

I was reading an article about the recent Twin Peaks revisit, specifically Part 8, and it reminded me that Mel Brooks wanted David Lynch to direct The Elephant Man. He'd seen Eraserhead and was impressed enough to make that call.

I'm just imagining Brooks' critic, watching Eraserhead.
