FINI for JESUS CHRIST CONQUERS THE MARTIANS
Misterkitty.org today released the final installment of D. Merrill's webcomic, JESUS CHRIST CONQUERS THE MARTIANS. The foul-mouthed, image-appropriating storyline has been appearing in continual installments since August of 2005. Using characters appropriated from various 1970s television cartoons as well as original imagery, D. Merrill illustrates a demented future world where Earth and Mars are at war, the only way to stop the constant attacks by the Martians involves the return of Jesus Christ, and super robots battle using giant bricks. Incidentally, Jerry Beck gave out a plug to Dave's "Stupid Comics" in his "Cartoon Brew" a few days ago. Just wanted to mention that. He apparently loved what you did. I personally wish you did it as a coffee table book of sources if it was possible to publish such a thing. I would read it!
Dave's got a large collection of columns that he's written over the last decade or so that I'd like to see published as a paperback. Or maybe like one of those New Testaments you find in the hotel bedstand.
