Con-trov-ersy!

Oh, man, an old film about the Brits getting shots. I love how they say controversy.

Warning! There's breast-feeding and naked babies! And there's more where that came from. As your doctor, I suggest you watch these films about horrible infectious diseases and the easy way to prevent them from ruining your lives.

Looks like putting a kid on a leash is nothing new.

Dogs kinda whoop anyway.

It's more bleak when it's in black and white.

Meh. The Americans don't really put on a good show, do they?

I take it back. Polio is scary as hell.

Drama! And a killer doll. It's so sad.

Oh yay! A cartoon. That makes it so much better. (here's parts 2 and 3)

Gods. Tetanus. That's a 14th century way to go.

I see you discovered the "Once Upon A Time..." series on "life" (there's a bunch of these shows if you look around for 'em). Their episode on where babies come from has to be seen to believe (sperms with LASERS!)

I had actually watched the series on CBC when we went up there for the summers.

Meanwhile, check this one out! h/t Dangerous Minds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8ZD9RcC8P0

I bet (seeing their logo in the opening, though I wasn't sure if it was just the French version or both languages they aired up there). I always pictured TLC as the perfect home for this stuff in the 80's as they been that desperate to put on something for kids that was "educational" (I can't imagine PBS airing this but I wish they did). Best I ever saw was one of these later shows called "The Discoverers" air on The History Channel during their infancy in some weekend block that included "Inspector Gadget's Field Trip".

I actually love this! I feel rather let down how we're starting to undo everything simply because parents are too uptight over this issue with shots and such.
