Private SNAFU: Spies: FREE!
The Internet Archive has the 1943 U.S. training short SPIES with Private SNAFU available for your enjoyment! But keep it under your hat, THEY may be listening!
I still wonder which one was the best. I personally enjoyed "Booby Traps" personally, especially for it's early use of the "Those Endearing Young Charms" joke that was later used in later WB cartoons like "Show Biz Bugs".
BOOBY TRAPS gets alot of laughs at the live shows. I think the juxtaposition of Mel Blanc's voice and the recognizable style of Chuck Jone's animation unit with the unexpected racy imagery is what does it. Like the clip of Porky Pig saying Sonovabitch, you aren't expecting it...
Of course the "Those Endearing Young Charms" gag would get tweaked a bit in the later toons, essentially the addition of a antagonist whom rigs a piano or such, and tries to get our hero to do the song, only to discover they continue to get the one note wrong, and eventually gets out there and does it himself, only to discover too late they've fell for it!

Yep, a true classic!
