Personally, I don't mind those childrens chorus singers myself. They're a bit more talented than the guys they used to use for the Peter Pan Record label! (I hope someone remembers what I'm bringing up)
I do too. Sometime in the '90s they changed their name to "PPI Entertainment Group" and released a number of VHS tapes under the "Parade Video" label, mostly composed of workout/fitness videos, sans for five VHS tapes filled with only two episodes each of the Jim Terry "Force Five" series.
I have yet to see a Peter Pan Records fansite though, don't have the real energy for one myself.
That must've been fun finding those tapes. I've only found "Starvengers" and "Gaiking" in my area.
Otherwise, I see the s__tty-as-hell "Robo Formers" tapes at a nearby video store I could buy at any time, hell knowone bothers buying those!
But yes, what I've told you is true! PPI also operated a CD subsidiary of sorts called "Compose" for which I had a bunch of budget CDs of oldies I got as my first CDs for my collection (now pawned off at the nearby Goodwill). Very noticeble as the company has stayed in Newark for most of it's tenure, though I assume they're gone nowadays. Just don't see hide nor hair of them.
Reminds me of a record in my collection I think is from them where a chorus of singers croon out the tune "Here comes the Batmobile!" Perhaps I'll have to highlight that one someday on my blog!
Somehow, the thought of anime and Peter Pan Records together seems very silly to me. Only a shame there wasn't more done with the classic anime shows 25 years earlier or we'd be having those same guys crooning to theme songs from "Starzinger", "Getter Robo", and "Captain Harlock." :-)

Yeah, I remember the Peter Pan Records. I wonder what happened to that company...
