Highland superstores

As you can see, the bride finally succumbed.

Everyone got in on the act.

Christmas was always a big deal.

This one actually kinda scares me.

I miss Highland too. My parents used to go to them a lot.

One of their ads can be seen here in this series of commercial breaks I found on one of my mom's tapes!

I remember there being one Highland location near Franklin Park Mall that ended up moving a couple blocks down to a, what I considered 'swanky' then, new building I saw in their commercials that had such an appealing design aesthetic. Apparently the building still exists today but it's for "ABC Warehouse" (the somewhat successor to Highland as far as I know, surprised they haven't been driven out of town by Best Buy at all, I guess it shows some people do care about who they buy their fridge from).,+OH&ei=6XLGTayKFKL00gH2s6n6Bw&sa=X&oi=local_group&ct=image&resnum=2&ved=0CAQQtgMwAQ&iwloc=607131350392107860
